Re: Restaurants

We went to Tavira on Tuesday intending to have lunch at Las Tres Palmeras. It is always busy there so we were very surprised to find it not only closed but up for sale. We will miss going there.

Re: GOLF & FOOD

I quite agree! Luckily it is a quite large restaurant, the TV's are off to one side and the volume is usually off. I'll put up with it for the steaks, which are huge and delicious. Never had a bad...

Re: Grill Tray Quest

If you are back in the UK at any time, a company called Kleenezee sells goods from a catalogue put through the door (sort of like Avon). In the past we have bought both a grill tray and adjustable...

Re: Restaurants

We went to Luis's (Restaurante Lupi in Monte Francisco) for the regular Wednesday night curry buffet last night. As usual, the food was great, but sadly we were the only people there.

Re: Restaurants

We had the buffet lunch at the Chinese retaurant in VRSA last year. Sadly I can't remember what it was called (old age strikes!) but the food was good and was in smallcontainers so the staff kept...

Re: charity shops

There is a charity shop in town. It's a couple of doors along from Bar Cortada which is the tapas bar near the church. It's called something like Anuncias. I took some stuff in there the other day.
