The booklet says :
"If the applicant is 60 years or older, exceptional circumstances are generally not considered"

I just thought there might be a chance because it is hard for us to find someone...

Try to get as many documents as possible in both your names. eg phonebill, electricity, rental agreement etc. and you should be allright. Memberships in the same clubs show proof as well.

Hi!
If you go for a skilled visa you don´t need to apply for an extra de-facto visa for your girlfriend. You just include her in your application and bring the proofs of your relationship.

I applied 17/4 and it was granted 5/10.
They requested AFP check which came back within 1 week and the visa was granted the same day they...
