The easiest way is to marry a Canadian and apply as a spouse! Otherwise you have to apply as an independant applicant and meet the points requirements.

I looked thru the forms and I dont see anywwhere that specifically says the photos have to be taken in Canada. However, I did notice that the application asks for your Residential address in Canada...

You do not have to become a Canadian citizen, if you don't want to. You can live forever in Canada as a Permenant Resident. The USA does not officially recognize dual citizenship, nor does it fully...
