Re: What do YOU do to call international cheaply?

We use www.worldline.ca, been using them for nearly a year with no problems.

$13.95 per month for unlimited calling - this covers calls to lots of countries, not just the UK.

Re: Ontario Driving Licence and Car Insurance

I've been in Ontario for 3 weeks now, driving licence was easy to exchange. Just turn up, pay $75, take a very quick eye test, and they'll exchange your UK licence for an Ontario one.

Be prepared...

Re: Share timeline-----Family Class!

Mine took just under 5 weeks, posted mine on 5th Feb - this seems to be a pretty typical time to wait, it feels like ages longer of course!

Re: Share timeline-----Family Class!

I've no direct experience in this aspect but can confirm we got sent back our personal photos last week when we received the Passport Request, so it's possible they just need the signature to...

Re: Share timeline-----Family Class!

Great news.

I reckon the good people at the CHC in London have been refreshed after their Christmas/New Year break as it seems to be happening for quite a few people on here in the last few weeks!...

PPR = Passport...

Re: Share timeline-----Family Class!

If I understand your question rightly it's not as bad as that.

I think they are quoting the average turnaround time from receiving the application(11th Jan) to making a decision on the...

Not quite - sponsor approval is done first, in Mississauga, then they forward the paperwork to the relevant local office e.g. London. When London confirm they have it, that's your AOR.

For my...
