Yes but that is not for all of them, it is only for the top of the range large house, the Viceroy Company have homes between around $70000 and $180000 and they also do cabin/country types for less...

I haven't done massive research into this subject but have looked at cabins.ca as per previous posts and these are priced from around $25000 for 1/2 bed cabins to $65000 for a rather spacious 3 bed 2...

It seems like its a little more complicated in Canada than the Uk because they have a base rate target of 4.25% see Bank of Canada website

Has anyone had the experience of buying a pre-constructed panelized house and had a contractor construct it for them ?

Yes you are right upto a point but if you look at the Stats for each of the Commissions offices everyone will get a picture of things and is why 30% of Apps take no more than 27 months, 50% no more...

Ours is through on an Aug 2005 AOR; don't get twitchy though as they don't always do them on strictly date order, I have seen one in another thread that was a Dec 05 AOR and they are ahead of us;...
