Having had such great advice from many people,thank you......... We are coming to decision of going there while I am still pregnant to validate the visa, have a holiday and visit friends, not bother...

Oh wow, well good news we got the skilled migration visa 136 and they have given us till 19th Dec to go, all is wonderful as we planned our last year in Uk.
Only now one month after we get accepted...

well I am glad that my kids aren't in an American School as they stand a higher chance over there of being shoot by some crazed loon who decides its a good idea to go to school to do some shooting at...

it seems it did speed it for you ;) , I understand that the visa has 12 months to start, and that start date is from the date of the meds or police check.
so we waited with it to be requested,...

well done, would like to know what you mean by front loaded?
did you send the meds and police report of with the visa application?

well we sent ours end of april and we have just been requested for our police reports and medicals
but i have now seen on the forum that one couple got refused as hse was working less than 20 hours...

just a note to say that i sent my TRA application of on jan 3rd 2006 and i recieved today feb 3rd my accepted reciept!!!
i paid the $500 for priorty and it took one month,also i understood that...
