we think that we would move at the end of the year, beginning of next as this is when the aussie school year ends.

did you live in a compound ? If so is it hard toget into one and how do you know...

thank you so muc. I found the ecole francaise and the british intl schools - we're thinking that as she is going into high school the best thing would be to enter back into the English system rather...

PS. Our youngest has been schooled entirely at the French school of sydney in French only., Is there something similar in Shanghai ? an international one where tuition is on french ?

Hi, having just gone through pretty much the same thing, and having consulted a Migration Lawyer to aide us in our situation this is what I was told. Wiki does not necessarily have all the answers...

There is an issue as on the visa form it states that both biological parents need to give consent. This is to stop children being abducted by one of the parents with out consent form the other....

Hi, Technically you need the biological parent to sign the visa app form, however, having consulted a MigrationAgent here (for my own purposes!) I do know that you can apply with just your signature...

I have a girl of 9 ( going on 19) and boy who will be 3 next month. Lets hope the weather does improve or our school holidays will be a nightmare !!

We are in the Eastern suburbs. He has played quite a bit here, the lucky bugger always seems to be invited courtesy of work ...hard life huh!!
