O.K If you are planning to do it then do it in couple of days. empost has started sending out the bar codes to applicants applied through them. So the rush is going to increase everyday.

Letter is not necessary. Well I did mine yesterday. Went at the one behind AUH Carrefor at 05:30 A.M wrote my name on a paper, the gate opened at 06:00 A.M stood in a very long queue till 07:00 A.m...

Also make sure that you print out using laser printer. Print as a pdf file so that you can print later or multiple copies if required.
