Default IT Management in the Middle East

My wife and children would like to move to the Middle East for a few years before we settle in Australia. I think this makes good sense. My wife was offered a position in Dubai 2 years ago but could not sponsor me and the children we were told. What would be the best way of seeking IT work in the Middle East? I have worked at the executive level for blue chip consultancy's as IT Management, Director and Service Delivery Manager.

Any advice or recommendations of recruiters or websites would be very appreciated.

that's a shame that you weren't told the correct information, as your wife could have infact sponsored you and the children. How annoying!
