Has any one done it? I want to know the procedure. How to get Saudi Transit Visa. Is there an agent to do it or only from the Saudi embassy? Is it easy/possible for non Muslims to get Saudi transit visa? Being a U.A.E resident I can get Qatar visa at the border. Also my vehicle is tinted. Is it allowed in Saudi and Qatar. My vehicle have a bank loan. Do I need a clearanace letter from Bank or Police? Any other formalities if any one is aware please reply.

I haven't done it but from what I hear there's a heavy load of paperwork to complete.

Bank loan might be a problem.

There's a book by a Dubai resident (or ex-resident) Greg Hunt about a land journey might be worth reading. Something about dogs I think.

Always flown - but just a word of "obvious"

Friends drove accross a couple of xmas's ago to do xmas and new year with family there...They got a 72 hour transit visa through the KSA embassy in November and were preparing to head over for the xmas week when someone asked how they were getting back....

One transit visa required to go and one to come back - The embassy won't ask - they'll just presume you are tranistting one way or are flying back or whatever.

If u want Saudi visa i think you should go to Saudi Embassy. Also if ur vehical is owned by bank, you should have a letter from ur bank allow u crossing the broder.
