Is that the location at Mt. Pleasant/Eglinton. I haven't been in over 10 years, but in the past, the cask conditioned ale was excellent. I believe the original is in Halifax.

Yes, that pub there is quite nice....not many 'pubs' in 819 as you have remarked before. I think Wakefield may have 1 or 2, but secteur Gatineau is decidedly pub free.

Depends where you go in the greater Ottawa area...basically on the QC side it would be required for any job and is very useful in day to day dialogue with your neighbours and in shops...many people...

Depends on the office job....downtown many firms require a level of french and with the federal government you likely have to be both a Cdn citizen and bi-lingual (Souvenir can chime in on that...

When the channel was 1st available they had more edgey programming (League of Gentlemen) and more comedy (Office, Alan Partridge, Royle Family, Coupling etc) and now it is full of 'lifestyle'...

Generally, the 'clicks per tank' value is usually very close in every car...cars with big tanks get lower mile/kilometreage so it generally all evens out.

My inlaws live in Guelph and I've never heard of that place...I've been in the Albion and the Woolie (different vibe from the places listed). Kitchener has/had a number of choice dives like that and...
