Received my GC this week, but only after a huge mission in trying to track it down....

at the time of my interview I changed my mailing address with USCIS as we were moving like a week later,...

My story is very similar to yours on how you met etc... you have nothing to owrry about, you entered legally and have remained legal all this time. Just answer the questions honestly.

I was just wondering if anyone has some idea of how long it is currently taking to process GC's after being approved. I guess some people wait longer than others, but it has been over a month now...

Exactly! and If I may add some Reneeee, If his J-1 status is bound h the 2 yr HRR, he could always petition for a waiver of that rule/requirement, but that I really don't know too much about. I think...

When I filed I included copies of my expired passport, which was the PP that had my U.S visa in it. Like Rene said, better safe than sorry.
