I'e heard that there are only certain places that Ex-Pats an buy property in.... i.e only on reclaimed land??? Dunno how true this is but might do well to check that out.!!!

It's ok mate, there's plenty to do and compared to the rest of the Middle East it's very very liberal.!!! The clubs and bars ain't too bad but theres nothing out here like London...... more like what...

Hi..... I've been out here for about three months now, my 2 bed appartment is fully furnished in Juffair (about 10 mins drive from Diplomatic area) and it costs 650Bhd per month, pool, gym, internet...

These are the new dinar, the old ones had Saddam's head on them and are no longer in circulation.!!!! They have not long been released, therefore they are unlikely to be phased out any time soon.

Don't know about Dubai but I work in Bahrain as a dog trainer and it costs my company almost £1000 a dog to fly them here and we are flying approx 30 a year so it's gonna be expensive mate.!!!

Yeah, Me too, that was why I bought mine back home. I really don't think that there is a lot of difference in prices mate and at least you won't spend hours looking for the @ or £ keys.!!!

They ain't much cheaper in Bahrain either mate, if you get one over here it'll have the Arabic keyboard board but if it breaks you can just take it back.!!! Don't know if that helps in any way at...

Another option for ya....... on the plane over get an international sim card, they won't be as cheap as a Kuwait one but a lot cheaper than O2. I don't know what the company is but you can top it up...
