Left Jersey - carry on all taken out and checked... Circled Gatwick for 40 minutes.... FOGBOUND... had to refuel in...

Arrived in Atlanta Feb 19th after a trip from Hell.

Received 10 year Green card in mail yesterday, March 14th. Still waiting for Social Security Number.

Hubby says as soon as possible... But we both have to work a months notice and ship some items we are keeping over.... and go and visit my Dad, so I guess at the beginning of February.

I got my visa

After being denied on November 9th for my overstay.

We sent in the I-601 on December 4th, and today December 18th (14 days later) I got a phone call from the London Embassy to call them.... I GOT...

Hubbies Tax transcripts arrived today.... In an hour the taxi is coming to take us to the scareyport..... (airport) flying to Heathrow.... Interview at 9:30am

We put January 2008... so I guess thats why ours was earlier....

I don't have a drivers licence... I do have a certified copy of my passport from Jersey Passport office will that do??? Because...

Now I am in a dilemma..... do we send the checklist off before we get paperwork back from the IRS or do we wait... :confused:

Yes, but he didn't know he had to file the tax returns... so we are filing 2003 - 2006 in one go.....

In the I-864 instructions it says...



We are trying to do everything 'by the book', so...

We apply for the ITIN at the same time we file the tax returns... the guy from the IRS said it could take 2.5 months before we get the paperwork to take to the interview... :( (The Jersey tax year...

Ohhhhhhh now I have to get an ITIN number from the IRS (He called the IRS and they said I needed the ITIN number).... hubby has to file taxes before we send off the checklist... could take another...
