I did think it might be a scam at first, but ive been speaking direct to a woman at the court who i met previously when in Spain. I also spoke direct to a Banesto Bank...

they have the apartments details I was staying at, but I don't remember too much about them taking many details. I may phone the court earlier for some piece of mind over it. I have some paperwork...

well your laughing then. I had the option to take it out but didnt bother, maybe if I was a bit older and had kids I would. Dont get me wrong, having a nice room...with a view and getting an op done...

yeah but the cover is limited, the bupa hospitals generally dont have the back up of the NHS hosptials, and its also a taxable benefit.

you might get to see doctor the next day and get your knee...

one more thing, i wouldnt trade 5 weeks standard holiday plus bank holidays for 2 weeks hoilday, cheap petrol, beer that tastes like piss and all you can eat for $9.99.

I agree NYC and london are pretty much similar for price. people dont generally own cars, get public transport, all much of a muchness.

BTW average house price in UK is £200k.

Difference is though is that the price $2.50 or whatever is per gallon not litre.

US prices need to double to bring them inline with europe, which aint gonna happen! not just go up a $1 a gallon....

A UK gallon is bigger than a USA gallon think its 4.5 litres Uk and 3.8 US, so its a little cheaper than that, though still an absolute rip off compared with the US.

81.9p Litre for unleaded which is £3.11 a US gallon which at about $1.9 to the £ is $5.91.

I miss filling up for 20 bucks, though I get about 38mpg here as opposed to 28mpg in a crappy Ford...
