Thats news. What do you mean the deductions more if the non-earning spouse just stays at home? My hubby will make 85 grands. We figured if I worked (even part time) I could make us an extra 25 or so....

We are planning to buy/rent in an area which 'boasts' the best school (for 5 and 7 year olds). Any suggestions? Oakville, Mississauga, Burlington? Any other?

I just came in through the US border and the officer took the first 2 copies of the COPR. We just have 1 copy of the COPR with us. Strictly speaking what we have is not the 'original' but a 'copy'....

The PR application form mentions a guarantor waiver is needed if one doesnt have a guarantor. The guarantor waiver has to be signed off by an accountant, lawyer etc. How does a newcomer just entering...

The PR application form refers to a 'guarantor'. Is a guarantor or a 'guarantor waiver' even applicable to a newcomer? Where do we get a guarantor at the port of entry?

Also it refers to payment...

Thanks, whats SIN? Medical card? So all we do initially is apply for the PR card during our proposed 1 week stay in August 2005? This site is great, to get all this invaluable information!
