There is no way I would move kids, leave job etc... without even having a working visa in place?

I thought we took a HUGE chance giving everything up hoping for PR and...

I would also wait until you have your 457, then you do not pay fees.
I am sure 12 weeks will not make that much difference and you can get settled.

We have lived on a single wage of just over $5k a mth for almost 3 yrs. We are a family of 6, rent a huge 4 bed/ 3 bath and have 2 cats. We eat organic meat/veg/fruit etc.. and live in Brissie.

Hi, we came on a 457 visa through my DH employer. They told us they would sponser us after 2 yrs for PR.
After 1 yr they agreed to sponser us for PR, but we waited 2 yrs and did not need the skill...

DH last tax said he had earned $102k
we are a family of 6 and 2 cats
eat only organic
one wage
