British pension

Can anyone advise please. Just got a £ figure on a British pension. It was a final salary pension from my last company in the UK.....

Thanks for the replies. Dad died suddenly 8 years ago - nothing in writing to say the clock was officially was left to me....So not sure how I could prove that point.

no...I saw a show on the tv - Border Security, and they sent a boy home for declaring he was going to finish his girlfriend's mothers basement, as a thank you for letting him stay...........

thanks, that was very useful.

Now I just have to find out if I can ignore the 2 boxes on the declaration form as I am the applicant and then its off to mail the whole thing!

Just completed my on-line application form to renew my British passport.

In the document checklist section, it asks for any other uncancelled...

Sending off new citizenship certificate for Canadian Passport...

Just wondered if anyone has sent off their Canadian citizenship certificate to Passport Canada....and did it come back without being folded???

I heard all sorts of tales stating that they must not...

I am a little confused, why would your kids not get a place at Stonehaven Elementary School? If you buy a house within the catchment area - and the area that covers Stonehaven subdivision, children...

Depends on the time of day.....the 400 highway is very busy during rush hour so probably 30 mins from highway 9 to highway 7 - Vaughan. Obviously weather can affect this too.

Finally Canadian!!!!

At last the day has arrived!

We have Citizenship Court this afternoon. My whole family is so happy and this feels like the end of a very long journey!

Thanks, as I am flying to NY on March 17, I need to be on the application by the 8th... So will go in person, just to be safe!

Just received our letters too...our ceremony is March 6 too, in Scarborough, Ontario!

We applied in Feb 2011 - so just over 2 years! Doesn't matter now - we are almost Canadian!!!!!:thumbsup:

How soon can I apply for my Canadian passport?

Finally the letters have arrived, inviting us to attend our citizenship ceremony....only problem is that I am flying to New York 11 days later! I know we can postpone the ceremony but really don't...
