I was on telly with Big Daddy ( Shirley Crabtree ) at a wrestling match.
Chris Evans spoke to me on The BIg Breakfast.
I also 'appeared' on The Hitman and Her.
..... I'm sure there's more.....

I appeared on the daily politics show in 2010. They filmed me campaigning on the streets and even interviewed me regarding the issues of that week.
I've also appeared 7-8 times in my local newspaper for standing in various elections.

I became 'famous' this winter in Canada! There I was shovelling my snow...looking absolutely yummie, red nose, no slap and a Michellin tyre attire, and a television camera lurked out of nowhere and asked me how I was liking my first winter in Canada. It was a very slow day for them, they'd been stuck to near the studio because of the terrible weather, and had been talking to the neighbours....hence I was 'it' they even asked my husband to move to one side so they could film me valiantly shovelling alone! So I got my five seconds! I do autographs amazingly cheap

I was on tv about a week ago. I think. I missed it personally, but a couple of people told me they saw me.
I was taking part in a "drumming circle" at the Wellspring Cancer support centre in Calgary, and tv was there doing an interview with the lady that runs it.
I was feeling rotten with (it transpired) clots in my lung, and tried not to look at the camera, but I suspect they focussed on me cos I was the only one with no hair and probably looked suitably sick!

I'm feeling much better now, in case anybody saw me and was worried.

Something what I wrote got published in the Wall Street Journal last week. Didn't have my name on it, though.

I am the only person ever arrested for playing a cornet (yes, a real one) on Wreck Beach, a nudist beach in BC. I was wearing clothes. My punishment was being shut in a room in the music department of Simon Fraser University and made to play with some geek twiddling away on a harpsichord. I have been in therapy ever since.
I was also a beater at a grouse shoot on Angus Ogilvie's estate in Scotland and met Princess Alexandra. Neither of us was nude or playing a cornet at the time. I believe the bag (OK, more jokes, Princess Margaret wasn't there) for that day was three owls, a cuckoo, and several sheep.

I forgot my real claim to fame. For four years while I was a student in St. Andrews, I lived above the place that's now the North Point Cafe where Prince William is supposed to have met Kate Middleton. The ground floor was at that time a corner grocery store owned by my landlady, Margaret Brown, who lived in part of the area above the shop. I lived in the back part and her daughter and two yapping poodles lived on the top floor. I was often in the shop and trod on the now hallowed ground many times but I never encountered anything remotely resembling a prince. I guess I was a few decades too early.
