Just for argument's sake (I don't really care): you don't have any other proof of permanent residence other than a void IM-1 (because you've landed) in your passport and a IMM5296 that says...

"Landed" by car at 9:38PM tonight by crossing over at Rainbow Bridge/Niagara Falls. 45min, no gimmicks....

Who "landed" as a work permit holder?

Just wanted to dot the I's and cross the T's: family on study and work permits will land using those nice and shiny VISAs. We are resident in Canada since over three years.

2yrs 7 mos 27days after we posted the application to London.

e-CAS changed to "Decision made".

Oh, yes, forgot to mention that e-CAS, the infamous e-Client Application Status, doesn't know anything about the progress, me and my immigration officer made! Still shows IN PROGRESS.

I believe you need police checks only for places where you lived longer than 6 months. Besides I am not sure whether your stay in a student exchange/scholarship program counts as a residential...

But, no meds. Instead, another 90-day letter advising me that my application would be prioritzed AND that I would be awarded...
