I so wished I hadn't "downsized" when I can to Melbourne .... everything is more expensive here and the quality of furniture etc generally not that great.

Im in perth airport at the mo, flying to Singapore then onto China .... there are alot of worried travellers here who should be on this flight heading onto the UK, no-one seems to know whether to fly...

Yup will be interesting to see what happens to house prices now, all those first tme buyers rushed to get the increased grant, numbers based on low interest rates, a couple of more rises & ??????

Moving to Melbourne end October, need to sort travel insurance.

Don't know whether to go for one way migration insurance for 21 days or "long term" travel insurance for 3 to 4 months?

If the share markets start a downward spiral again there would a return to "safe assets" gold being one, moving money away from asia including the aussie dollar being another!?
