Of course Brits shiukd make an effort to learn Spanish, but a high degree of Spanish language would be needed to fill in some of the forms. I don't know if English is taught in all Spanish schools,...

I can understand why a lot of the foms are in Spanish as its Spain that people are hoping to move to, but I'm surprised they don't offer them in several languages.

Although I had to pay for it, I doubt I would have been able to do it myself, as one if the previous posters pointed out, you needed to do a live application, probably need a decent level of Spanish...

I gave up trying to do it myself, in the end I paid someone to do it for me. I gave my S1 info to them, they did the rest, emailed me the certificate to take to the Consulate, and will finalise it...

You mentioned that a mobile phone is needed as info is sent to it, did you use a UK mobile number or did you have a Spanish mobile number that you used?
