Talked with my ex-pat husband a little about that. We did do the visit when his mum died last year... He doesn't really want to visit his brother if we visit the "Old Country" in the future... But...

Thanks everyone for the advice. Seems GRO can "maybe" get us a long form eventually, but I feel better about our footing now. If it comes down to it, we might just go with that "shove it" solution....
