I enjoy the odd Vegas buffet, but cannot say I have ever been to a restaurant? unless the Peter Piper pizza lunch buffet counts?

Granted, it's cheap and fresh but it's not good pizza. The toppings are hardly generous so you fill up on dough. The desserts are basically sweet pizzas too, i.e. pizza crusts with sweet toppings.
Nothing remarkable really but everyone to their own I suppose...

For quite a few years, Cici's had father and child day. If the man took the kids in on Monday's, the kids would eat for free, if under 10 or 12, can't recall which. I think they've only recently stopped it (a year or so ago). Great deal when you have 3 kids under the age of 10! Can't beat it. You can also get customized pizzas there, which is great for the price.

With you on Cici's Yosser - and its only 3.95 down here! Not the best pizza, granted, but passable, and good value. My 3.5 year olds 2 favourite 'restaurants' are Cicis and Souper Salad - he's limited to once a month on Cicis (mainly cos I eat too much when I go.....) but we go to Souper Salad a lot more often.
Have to say I like the buffet arrangement especially with toddlers because you can always find something they like, can limit the portions, and its normally noisy enough to drown out any of their indiscretions! Plus it gets away from the standard kids menu options of nuggets, hot dogs or mac&cheese...
We do a few of the chinese/oriental buffets now and then - take it or leave it (definitely leave the sushi!!) - some of them appear to be sailing very close to the wind healthwise, but - touchwood - we've never had a problem....

Also just tell the girl on the till, that you just want water, then you can help yourself to coke or sprite at the "all you can drink" machine, that way you can save 95 cents....wink wink!

Souper Salad or Sweet Tomatoes are good from my point of view. Now, I have been vegetarian a good many years, so the likes of Ponderosa holds few options for me. Sweet Tomatoes was really good about my interogating them about what might be in their pastas
