It’s clearly not an exact science and a little random if your vpn gets spotted! We have no issue with tunnel bear and also use a family members Sky Go sign in which covers most of our UK tv needs.

if your device is compatible with your SMART tv then screen mirroring works on most apps.

You can use a VPN to “fool” the sites to think you are UK based. Works for us and very reliable and cheap. Just need family and friends in UK happy to share log in details.

I find VPN useful for Premier league football and we enjoy the Walter Presents dramas. Just finished De Twaalf (the twelve) which was in Flemish (English subtitles obviously) and really good.
