So... if these two numbers are correct - 170,000 in the queue, and 6,000 processed per year - then 28 years to wait.

We're a UK family with Oz citizenship, and just had a baby in NSW.

Be aware that the Oz regime seems to be very different from the UK, and we felt that there was a stricter (and rather alarmist)...
