For example if you buy a house cash for 200k next month no stamp duty.
If you wait 18 months and pay 800 quid a month rent and stamp duty starts again. you would be 800x 18 months rent...

All the lads n lasses my Mrs worked with come over on work to residence visa straight from English prisons.
But you won't qualify for a residence...

probably 100% if its through a accredited employer on a work to residence visa.
Unless you have some alarm bells things like a serious medical problem or police history its a pretty straight forward...
