I agree they are not as good as English - sloppy and tastless.
What I would like is the Steak and Kidney pudding. That is the first thing I request when in England( and Bacon)

You can get mushy pea's at the fish and chip shops here in Brampton. At least three places I know. Dried Peas at any grocery store.

Yes I agree Mike- Brampton now as a lotta of ethnic food stores. Try "Food Basics or "No Frills" and for English food try the bakery at"Gate of the glen" ( they sell lots of English food - but...

Other reasons for appling for Citizenship after all these years -

1. To avoid paying the $6.00 us every three months to enter the US and avoid the hassle at the Borders.

Many reasons for the delay - but to be honest - I have just got of my butt and applied now....

On new houses in Canada, building a fence is usually the first big project usually after six months or so, after grading of the land as finished.

We are not shippers, but Transportation Consultants.
Our business is focused on manufactors,distributurs etc, not usually individuals.
But, with our buying power, knowledge of shipping anything...

For the older seniors - when booking the flight - book a wheelchair.
On any airline the service is great - and no charge.
Once they get to the booking area - the staff take over until they are met...

we also had the same problems, many years ago
But every one visited and then my mum emigrated at the age of 80.
At 90 she returned to England and passed away within 8 weeks.

But in Canada most people group in one area , Like Brampton is becoming very ethnic. Certain area's for Asian's, Portuge's and others.
