No - I seem to remember seeing the 300euro figure yonks ago, so your info is more accurate. Might be worth doing especially as my wife has to renew her passport this month. Thanks.

I use the UK passport, as the ID isn't valid for travel to the UK. It may be accepted for booking the ticket, but I haven't tried it. I haven't bothered with getting an Italian passport as the ID...

Poste Mobile (Italian Post Office mobile) has a 5euro a month deal if you have an Italian ID (ID Card or Driving Licence) and Codice Fiscale and can be ordered online
