Yes i do have UK Mortgage
I was in USA the whole of 2018

I'm using TurboTax and have entered interest payments already.

SSN for L2 Children

Hi, first time filing taxes and the tax benefit for children who have a SSN is $2000, but only $500 for those that have ITINs.

Does anyone know if my children are applicable for SSN as opposed to...

it depends on when you get the interview, but from the online approval to having the visas/passports in hand was around 1 month

just to update this: yesterday we went to Stamford, CT SSA office and got an L2 SSN without the EAD. Our lawyers are in the process of applying for the employment authorisation

i had a ridiculous quote initially by IAS but when i had a dealer provide a more realistic quote (for expats), IAS dropped their monthly quote by 50% on a newer car.
Just do your research and...

I can pay a maximum of 10% a year and yes, the mortgage is adjusted daily so the interest paid will be reduced
