If you dont trust a solicitor to store it and dont trust the post then you haven't really got many 'official' options other than perhaps leave it with an executor.

Who knows but at most ports they’ve only just installed the new gates which indicates they didn’t feel it was a good idea otherwise it would have perhaps been implemented from day 1.

Whilst switching passports between what you book a flight with and what you enter a country on is perfectly acceptable (in EU countries) the two systems are not seperate, the airline systems...

When I last came through Madrid ALL non EU passport holders had to queue to go to the EES machine and much like the video posted above asked the residency question. Maybe different ports operate...

Whether or not you want to return its probably a good idea to clear it as it could potentially grow and grow.

Why can't you contact SABB ? That's who you owe, they will advise how to clear it.
