I'm still part of a group on Facebook and it's still active with a lot of people looking at emigrating to NZ, mostly from the UK and US, maybe Facebook groups have taken over.

You beat me to it, thankyou though! Being 55 in a few months one of the first things I looked at is the arrangement between Oz and NZ for when I retire. Which at this rate will be 96.. 😁

Very true, my late husband's cousin (who I keep in touch with) and family used to live in Chch (now live on North shore Auckland) holiday in Kaiteri every year, have forever. They're there now.

Also Littlegreycat, Christchurch is so easy to get around, and mostly flat. I roar with laughter when people complain about traffic jams here after living in Sydney 🤣
