Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?

For...

Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?

Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?

Re: UK Referendum: It's Leave.

I saw and interesting talkshow on DW TV last night. There are German opinions which would not agree with 'wolfi'. The EU has brought us more disadvantages than advantages. One of those is that it...

Re: UK Referendum: It's Leave.

I'm just an observer, I'm not a Brit. I guess we vote for what we consider is best for us. Why are Brits living in EU countries so worried about getting kicked out?
No country is interested loosing...

Re: UK Referendum: It's Leave.

The Brussels caused the Brexit. Now that UK exited this crooked club they are surprised and upset. Suddenly, they consider overhauling immigration policies. Nobody wanted to do it before the Brexit....

Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?

Hi, I gave 4* hotel as an indicator of hotel standard for recommendation. 5* will also be fine. I'm not a great fan of Shangri La unless Penang ones are better than the Singapore one. We are keen to...

Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?

We are still looking for (for us) best Plan B as Thailand, our present home, is getting more bureaucratic when it comes to getting a new visa. We are not prepared to jump through hoops for them next...

Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?

Tks JC3. But EHIC and living in Germany are different situations. We had a letter from DHS which will allow you to register with the Germans, get their health card, and you need to pay German...

Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?

Even now there is no free reciprocal healthcare when you live in Germany. You have to pay a monthly contribution of 8 % of your income just like German pensioners, we were told. If you can get a...

Thailand has a retirement visa but not a real program.
Thais don't worry about tax, you pay where your money is.
Slovenia taxes worldwide income if you stay for more than 183 days.
Tax wise...

Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?

This has not changed. If you leave the country without a reentry permit, your retirement visa ends. You have to re-apply on return.
Overstay penalties have changed. I do not have details but it...

Re: Having a Plan B - what's yours?
