I thought that airport was going to close and traffic transfer to Corvera , when it eventually opens. Supposedly june 2016. Javea airport will then go back to being a military base. If that happens...

Yes . You are right. I was trying to avoid the Scooter word . A lot of people use that word to describe the tiny things with 3 inch wheels. I am really interested in Either pedalled or non pedalled ...

I can't to links , but the Peugot Electric E-Vivacity Scooter , is the sort of thing. There are some Chinese ones on Ebay which Cost £400 and have pedals too.

The mopeds I am talking about look just like a small Vespa scooter. No pedals. They are capable of doing 30mph and have a range of about 40 miles. Adequate for shopping runs

Do they have Electric mopeds in spain. When I lived in Turkey, a lot of expats had these because they didnt need Licences or Residency. I think they needed COC ( Cert of Compliance ) to say it obeyed...

Hi Caron. When I priced places in other areas . . . Mijas/ Mojacar/Denia they all seemed to be more than my budget. For my £75 K sterling , I can get 3 bed in Los Balcones/Los Altos/Playa Flamenca ....

The people who dont know where Los balcones is, Certainly will not know specifics like the type of Suface the tennis court has. People who know the place well , will recognise the name immediately....

If you google' Lago Jardin1, Los balcones' It will take you to one place. It is south of Torrevieja in Orihuela Costa.

Sorry got my countries mixed up on the exchange rate. Its about 20 Lira for a main course average and 10 Lira for a large Beer. Panic over. :lol:

Anyone on LAGO jARDIN 1 Site on here. I am curious to know what the Tennis court Surface is on that site. Is it Hardcourt or Carpet ?

Things have got a bit more expensive in Turkey. Re Post 5. Anywhere in the Bodrum area you would be pushed to get a large beer for £5. The average main course in a cafe would be about 20 Lira ie...
