Yeah I was dealt with in what could have been the worst case scenario, I have since spoke to a solicitor that told me the convictions were very harsh but because I just accepted it for what it was...

Ah OK , I thought it was 5 . I had a year to pay my fine, so I was convicted in June 2016 (accident was in March 2016) but didn't pay my fine until January 2017. So really only a year has passed...

Been to a solicitor that has explained to me what it is they are trying to convict me of (which she doesn't even think I will get but just thinking of worst case scenario) failure to report a road...

I haven't been invited to apply yet but would just like to know in advance. Do driving convictions effect your IEC? Could you be denied one because of it? Maybe I'm being really silly but until now...

Yes I've made a profile but my passport is due for renewal so I need to get that sorted before I can do anything else. Should have it by the end of the month hopefully though

Ohh, OK I see what you mean. So we would need separate visas? I will need to look more into it.

Personally, I would rather have a more permanent solution so as not to risk moving my son around...
