Hi. Our vet told us we needed a passport for our dog to take him to Australia and he will have to spend 30 days in quarantine also. We were getting him a passport anyway as we took him to France...

I had 3 quotes about 6 months ago which were all around £2300, I'm sure they've gone up now though. What sort of dog have you got? We've got an Akita and our best quote was with Golden Arrow.

Thanks Robbs. I'll give them a ring. Just means we'll have to put our holiday off till the week after which I was trying to avoid as it's half term and is a lot more expensive :(

Hi Robbs. Yes he has had a blood test and got his passport, it was just the six month rule I was confused about. So they do check the passport when you go into France then?

Thanks for the advice Dinky. I had a quick search last night and found a website selling it for £10 for 100ml or £20 for 200ml. Quite steep I think, but it sounds like good stuff :D
