clearly not enough for those in Canada to make it mandatory in all circumstances. There is clearly some discussion in the field as to wether they help or hinder when viewed in a holistic way.

I think the analogy with drunk driving is a little strong but take the general point. Plus I find in North America it isn’t nearly as much a social taboo/punished sufficiently as it is in UK.

i often find this is missed by many especially renters. Yes rents are expensive in the big cities but unlike uk, renters don’t then have to pay council tax equivalent.

no, no news but BC has been very strict about the quarantine so I’m not expecting it to be relaxed anytime soon.

i generally agree but I don’t think helping the majority (white people) feel better about themselves (aka Were not racist we changed the name of the province) is meaningful.
