We have a UK Santander account but you would need a separate Spanish Santander account which is totally different to Santander UK. You have to have a Spanish account to pay your utility bills, etc....

Yes, we signed a reservation form and then paid the 2K. Unfortunately we did not read it thoroughly as we were all talking which added to the distraction…..maybe that's how to get an unsuspecting...

We were not told by the Agent it was non refundable. Researching a bit further today it appears that before signing anything, the Agent should have told us we need a solicitor to check out about...

We went again to look at areas etc. last week. We found a property we liked and ended up signing a reservation pre contract...

We are very aware of all the extra costs involved when buying plus annual costs, etc.etc. We have just sold our property in USA and had all those type of things to take into consideration which soon...

That has cheered me up. We have a 123 Uk Santander Account, and that is the type of account we discussed whilst we spoke with Santander es on our recent visit. Will look into all the options...
