Just explain your situation to CIC folks by writing a letter, and send all the documents (tax, payslip, colleague letters) you have about his company. CIC are understanding folks, and hopefully they...

Send an email to RCMP to check if they have sent your result to CIC. Usually they take a while to reply (but they do reply). It takes a month for that fingerprints to reach CIC from the date RCMP...

Does Canadian banks accept U.S dollar money orders, if I want to open a bank account with them?

Probably you're referring to 'name check'. For immigration purposes you need to do the 'fingerprint based' record check. That's the one that takes lot of time.
