Yes, I was attempting to avoid having to get in the ambulance that was called to the scene, but they took one look at it and slapped a collar on me and carted me off. So it's all been checked out....

Oh no, I was going to head down to the office tomorrow as I am at 10 days now. I too am stuck out of work systems due to no SSN :( I can't even get a parking pass!

As far as I'm aware, you need to wait 10 days after you arrive before going to the SS office so that all your details are fully in their systems. So maybe don't plan on that for the 1st.
