Not been on in ages, this is just an update.

Moved over here in August of course. Still living in MZ, found a nice 2 bedroom for 65k aed.

Also managed to buy a nice '14 camaro (my dream car!)...

I have my work permit. I've contacted a friend who runs a travel agency, he does shipping as well.

He's said that he can send stuff over for me in suitcases for £3.50 per kg and can take up to 2...

I was looking at cars like dodge chargers or camaros. The more i hear, the more i worry as i have a 2 year old son... looks like i might need to reconsider :(

I don't think I'd be able to commute every day anyway, so I will be looking for a home in MZ as well as a car. Now its just choosing the best car with a lot of horsepower!

I'm used to 15 mpg at £1.40 a litre. I'll happily run 15 mpg at a fifth of that price. Tbh being a petrolhead, car expenses are one thing I'd fork out for. Other than that I dont drink/go clubbing...

Yeah I noticed. However I wouldnt mind paying £16k for a highly modified evo (assuming its done right) but thats obviously out of the window now.

But this is what confuses me Norm_UK, people say my salary isn't enough to live on, then I'm told I need around 85k for housing... My company is offering me 140k housing...
