Can existing UK security clearance be ‘transferred across’? Or can it expediate the process?

Slightly confused as to why UK police are involved, when it’s UKSV who deal with security clearance?

I think this is a very valid point. Are crime stats published for the different areas?

Does it compare at all to cities in the UK?

Re: Family Friendly areas of the HRM

I’m glad you’ve said that about Dartmouth as we’ve seen some houses (only on Point 2) that look great, but it doesn’t seem to have a very good rep so we’ve almost sort of discounted it.

Looks like we can get something nice in most areas, currently...

Family Friendly areas of the HRM

Evening All,

Are there any particular areas people would recommend in the HRM?

To quantify this a little, I’m thinking in terms of standard and availability of schools (Kids are 6, 4 and 1) ...

Irving Shipbuilding

Hi All,

Is there anyone on the Forum who left the UK to work for Irving? Really keen to chat to someone and get a feel for what it’s like.

Thanks,

Tom.

Re: Un-happy in Canada!

I think it's sad that the majority of people seem to see skills and education as the only things that can make you above average. My comment was really meant as a bit of praise to say 'hey don't see...

Statistics are manipulated to show whatever is desired.

Perhaps I'm an eternal optimist but if you view yourself as average how are others going to ever perceive you as more than average?

No...
