Re: Any recommended immigration lawyers/consultants?

Thanks a ton for your reply.

My biggest fear with Spousal sponsorship is something that has been in play for a while - we have virtually 0 pieces of evidence.

-Neither of us have bills coming...

Any recommended immigration lawyers/consultants?

Hi there,

I'm working in Canada and looking to become PR. My situation seems increasingly confusing to me in regards to what route I should take though and I'm running out of time. Summary of my...

Re: IEC 2015

Thanks. I had the same reply elsewhere. The reason I was concerned was because my country of application is Canada as I was here while applying. I had a feeling I was being overly paranoid though. :)

Re: IEC 2015

Yeah I actually despise the "Credit culture". I understand how credit cards can be financially beneficial if you control your use of them, however I prefer to remove myself from the temptation of...

Re: IEC 2015

I ended up paying it with my fiance's dad's credit card which went through.

I just can't comprehend that Canadian Visa Debit wouldn't work with a government website of all things. This is 2015.

Re: IEC 2015

I've just completed the application but I got this. :(

What the heck? Does it not accept Visa Debit card payments? I don't own a credit card. Also, I made exactly 1 attempt.

Re: IEC 2015

Thank you!

So I have to scan all the pages of my old passport as well as my new? I guess that makes sense as I suppose they're proving which countries I've been to?

Does this mean if someone...

Re: IEC 2015

Okay...are you 100% sure on this? I'm asking from a perspective of like wanting confirmation from someone who's did this before ideally.

Sorry, I'm paranoid about making sure this goes right.

Re: IEC 2015

Thanks. :)

I wasn't sure about the new account as I felt I may have read that at some point but I thought maybe it might be new Kompass account/old CIC account rather than new Kompass/new CIC.

Re: IEC 2015

Hi guys,

Quick question. I have until the 14th to finish MyCIC application. A few things.

1. I'm currently on IEC and in Canada, so I have an account from last year.
2. Do I create a brand new...

Hey guys, just got my CAL for this year.

Question, do I use last year's CIC account or make a new one?

Re: IEC 2015

Holy crap this was MUCH faster than last year. I submitted at 10:10 and my WTN ends in 1959.

Last year I took a similar amount of time and ended with 0130.

I have no idea what the initial quota...

Re: IEC 2015

Guys, key question:

-Should I use the same email as my last Kompass account or not?

There wont be an issue with duplicate emails right?

Re: Dilemma - Planning to apply for 2nd IEC but passport expiring.

Just wanted to leave a note in this thread that after I renewed my passport in the UK, there was no issue at all at the border (as per the responses here.

As the border guard informed me, the work...

My initial concerns...

Thanks for the replies.

The main thing I'm wondering now though, as I am considering the overseas renewal (at least I'd get it before round 3 of IEC applications probably)

Does renewing my...

Re: Leaving & re-entry on IEC + path to PR in my circumstances?
