Hey what difference does it make that I haven't planted French shallots or isle of white garlic. I plant what I like Most of it ends up in vinegar anyway......

I think my onions should be okay am 700m up a mountainside and temperatures are quite alot less than alicante, about 6 degrees normally.

Aldi - Onion Sets

Just to Inform you all ALDI has onion sets (50) in (sturron and Red Baron) and also Shallots (10) (White and Pink) - Garlic (3 Bulbs) too for replanting and strawberry plants - all for 99c

Not bad really happy with those prices - I have a dumpy of render sand which I can mix with the cent for laying..... Alls...

we have stables down the road about 200m from the house. Always spotless though and never see any poop hanging about so dunno where they store it. Using frsh will be too strong for veg needs to rot...
