Thanks for the advice. I experimented with several apps. and after a week's free trial with Sygic and trying it out, I decided to sign up.

Thanks for all the advice, I've booked 5 nights in Jerez at the Sercotel Astia Regia and 5 nights in Conil at the Apartmentos Mirador Del Prado, then we've got 10 nights to make it up as we go along.

Take your point there Dave, but Jerez to Cadiz/El Puerto and Sanlucar isn't far.

To research the beach resorts and Medina after some good advice here and elsewhere we'll base ourselves in Conil...

Sorry Fred, missed your question there. Probably Madrid as we currently live in Thailand, then we'll get a train from Madrid to Jerez as it will be nice to actually get off a plane!

I think we'll start of in Jerez and take it from there, perhaps I'll narrow down a few hotels in a few places and take it from there, but it's always good to have recommendations as I'd rather spend...

Hello, I am planning a 3 week trip to Spain in November. This is in essence to research the area for a permanent move.
