Re: Aussie gas camping equipment

Yes, us too - our Aussie BBQ works fine here. The only problem was that our gas bottles aren't accepted for filling in the UK, so we had to buy new ones.

When I first lived in Australia six years ago, there was a spectacular ghost gum in the front garden of a house on Burke Road, Camberwell that I used to marvel at every time I passed. Back in the UK...

Re: Aussie Women

It is bizarre - by and large Aussies are pale skinned all the year round because they avoid the sun and/or wear SPF30+ on a daily basis... but the original premise of this thread is so true -...

Re: Room to swing a cat in Oz?

Nowhere near as bad. The major arterials in/out of the big cities do get busy around public holidays, and you'll have to arrive at the park/beach early to secure a public BBQ, but it won't be...

Re: Legally disowning family member

Hi JAJ,

I am assured it's perfectly possible to divorce a child in the UK.

To confirm the situation, the half sister is a child of my wife's father.

Hi Sharon,

Hoorah! Someone who's done it! Have you any idea what their Business Class section is like and how would you compare them to other airlines you have used?
