ENS 186 dec/non decison ready

hey there, I've heard recently that DIAC wont be making a difference on applications based on if they were decision ready or not decision ready as from December past.

Mine was lodged on 1st Nov...

most banks around the world charge a fee for receiving an international payment. If you use a broker that sends their payments from Oz then you will avoid the charge

11 weeks is a bit hard to judge things, when you move it's never going to be easy. also you've moved to Melbourne in Winter which isn't the best time to move

Amaysim is decent, $40 a month unlimited (they use Telstra or Optus network). Aldi and Red bull mobile are the same, all have 3-4gb data allowance as well as unlimited calls and texts

i'm hoping my worst case scenario is that i get a tax bill. i've just been a bit afraid that DIAC might reject the application based my companies actions. Nerve wrecking process

simple mistake, my boss has said that they were never advised by our tax lawyer. to the best of my knowledge my company has paid the excess.

did you use hifx uk or Australia? If you use the Australian office you wont incur any charges for funds coming into Australia, I use them regularly

I've 6 years experience in my current role including on the 457 so am confident that part will be ok, it's just how much they want to find out about beforehand! I haven't started bugging my lawyer...

Does anyone know how far back you need to go on the previous employment section on the 186 application? The reason I ask is that I had several jobs in my early 20's where the companies are not in...

passport expiring - holiday home

my passport expires in Sept and i've a holiday planned home to the uk in july for 3 weeks. does anyone know if i can fly home and get a new passport (1 day job) when i'm home?
