There are so many factors. My brother lives in a quiet town in Scotland. His gas costs are huge compared to mine. Ahhh but his house insurance is nothing compared to what is required in hurricane...

I'm curious. Do you really think a dedicated thief is interested in whether your car is locked or unlocked?

Same goes for a house. You really think a thief tests doors to see if they are locked...

Retired doesn't mean no income. He could have income from investments, dividends, rentals, trust funds.

Over the long term the stock market averages a 10% return. A shrewd investor can and does...

I was thinking along the lines of the new thought of a 6/12 visit, no green card.

I believe a sharp investor could get a good deal more than 3-4%.
