thanks for the post...yes ive settled very well in Jalan Bukit Merah, great location to my work place on shenton way...im also finding im socialisng more now that i dont have to worry about...

I had to have Hep B injections before i left the UK, was recommended?

ive just moved over from the UK, and had exactly the same issues..where to settle.

Through an expat site i managed to find a lovely place in Bukit Batok which is about 30 mins by MRT outside...

Ive only just arrived myself to Singapore and as yet havent needed to visit dentist i managed to get all this done over in the UK before I arrived ie general check up.
