Re: The new labour leader...

Don't particularly like Billy Connolly. Each to their own though

The Welsh anthem is the best I've heard, I'd adopt that for Britain tbh. Cracking tune and probably about sheep or something so...

Re: The new labour leader...

He'd get just as much grief from the uber Brit nats if he had sung the anthem for not being consistent in his views. They absolutely hate him - interesting few months ahead.

Re: UK Election Poll

The SNP will remain popular so long as it has strong leadership and as long as SLab doesn't appear a credible left-of-centre alternative. It has vast membership, very strong grassroots campaigning...

Re: UK Election Poll

I think anyone who expected anything else from voting for the Conservatives is either incredibly naive or ignorant tbh.

Re: UK Election Poll

Also, how good was it to see Galloway lose his seat? He blamed racists and Zionists for his humiliation to umm... Naz Shah. A bit awkward.

Re: UK Election Poll

You may well be right - as we saw last night things can change dramatically over the course of a few years. My knowledge of Canadian politics is very limited and I don't know a great deal about the...

Re: UK Election Poll

I reckon we should just round up the poor and put them all in a special camp where they are forced to work for some sort of meagre subsistence. You've got your priorities spot on mate.

Re: Kate in labor

I refuse to believe you're being serious. Did you wait outside the hospital for the bairn to be born, waving your Union jack etc. I bet you did.

Re: Kate in labor

 OK bud. No one would bother visiting historic castles, palaces etc. if we no longer had a monarchy right enough. France gets roughly zero tourists every year. As I said anyway, the supposed...

Re: Kate in labor

You won't be able to quantify these incredible revenues the royal family bring in, will you? At times they're actually fairly embarrassing and not strong ambassadors at all - see Prince Harry's Nazi...

Re: UK Election Poll

That thing he does where he asks someone their name and then repeatedly uses it in his answers is bizarre. The way he peers into the camera is also a bit unnerving.

Re: So you can Vote in the UK election.....?

Farage and members of his party consistently make disgraceful, xenophobic remarks, hence why UKIP is generally known as a bigoted, xenophobic party. His comments on HIV during the debate were...

Re: BE Maple Leaf awards 2014 winners!!
